Relic Lobby Bar, Stratford Ontario.

September 2026.

This bar which also serves snacks we discovered a couple of years ago and recommend it highly if you are a cocktail fan visiting Stratford.

It’s a bit of a faux rundown-looking place staffed by knowledgeable cocktail enthusiasts who present a menu of original drinks but who will make just about anything you want (US products prohibited at the time of writing however). We tried “the bear and the bitter” and “bird of paradise” both delightful, the first a whiskey and amaro-plus concoction and the second a gin-based lighter cocktail. There was a negroni special on, also excellent, and they make a mean boulevardier to your specifications as well.

We’ve tended to repair here following matinee plays in town to debrief and prepare for dinner. Ideal for just that.
